Accelerating talent readiness while preserving culture

Nexolution is a strategic technology ally building advanced data, analytics, and AI frameworks that propel companies into the future. While the firm delivers cutting-edge expertise globally, its core identity is defined by a close-knit, family-like culture that puts people first. Nexolution believes that technical transformation begins with human empowerment, investing in its people’s long-term growth so every team member can master tomorrow’s technologies.

As Nexolution scaled its footprint in the competitive data, analytics, and AI consulting markets, leadership faced a dual challenge: the business needed to accelerate the time-to-market of technical talent while preserving a deeply rooted, family-like culture. New hires needed to transition from foundational awareness to advanced technical specialization faster, and the organization needed to standardize English language proficiency so consultants could confidently lead international client relationships.

The organization set three clear goals: accelerate speed-to-capability for new hires, achieve global communication readiness by standardizing and tracking English language proficiency, and protect employee well-being by structuring learning as a supportive journey rather than an intense corporate hurdle.

“Without a platform like Udemy, we would face difficulties accelerating talent readiness while protecting our culture. We needed a learning partner that could deliver both technical depth and human-centered development,” said Josué Lavandeira, Head of Learning and Development.

Nexolution set out to build a development framework that would connect learning to business strategy and culture in equal measure.

The Employee Development Framework powered by Udemy

Nexolution built the Employee Development Framework, a growth architecture that combines role-based Udemy Business learning paths with holistic support. The framework identifies critical skills through a three-tiered process: strategic alignment via needs-based assessments, global integration via language skills assessments, and sustainable growth via emotional and holistic support.

Udemy Business serves as the learning engine of the framework. The general onboarding track delivers foundational Udemy courses covering the core business model, tools, and people-first culture, reducing onboarding to less than one week. Specific area onboarding tracks branch employees into business domains including presales engineering, sales, data intelligence, and data science, with custom-curated Udemy learning paths. Role specialization tracks deliver targeted advanced Udemy courses for niche certifications.

“Udemy doesn’t work for us merely as a repository of content,” Lavandeira said. “It’s a translator for our organization’s needs.”

Dedicated language groups accelerate English proficiency, with curated Udemy tracks on Business English, public speaking, and technical writing. Groups meet twice a week to practice together. The seamless learning ecosystem loop moves from diagnostics through curation, holistic check-ins, and application, ensuring the organization maps newly acquired skills to internal project allocation.

“Udemy doesn’t work for us merely as a repository of content. It’s a translator for our organization’s needs.”

50% faster time-to-readiness and 90% retention

The Employee Development Framework delivered measurable impact across talent deployment, communication, certification, and retention. Time-to-project readiness dropped from 90 days to >45 days, a 50% acceleration in talent deployment.

100% of employees with English proficiency below C2 level advanced by at least one full CEFR proficiency tier within six months. The organization achieved a sixfold increase in partner certifications, completed its first Certification Day with four new advanced technology certifications, and now schedules Certification Days every 30 to 60 days. Employee retention reached 90% post-onboarding, and onboarding duration fell to less than one week.

“With Udemy, we’ve empowered our professional team to reach their full potential, scaling business capabilities at the speed of modern AI innovation,” Lavandeira said.

The framework created a common technical language across Data Engineers, BI Developers, and generative AI (GenAI) Consultants, eliminating fragmented, ad-hoc training and connecting learning directly to project allocation.

“With Udemy, we’ve empowered our professional team to reach their full potential, scaling business capabilities at the speed of modern AI innovation.”
