Challenge
Making learning a strategic business capability
InnoWave Technologies SA is an AI-driven global consulting company that empowers businesses to shape the future through a culture of innovation. The company helps organizations reinvent their future by combining Artificial Intelligence with deep expertise in cloud, data intelligence, cybersecurity, digital engineering, digital experiences, and application development. Operating across multiple international markets and serving clients in the telecommunications, energy, and financial services industries, InnoWave believes that its people are its greatest competitive advantage.
InnoWave needed to ensure that learning kept pace with rapidly evolving technology trends. As an AI-driven consulting company serving clients across Telecommunications, Energy, and Financial Services, the organization required its people to stay ahead of emerging technologies and transform knowledge into innovative, AI-powered solutions.
The leadership team designed every initiative around evidence-based learning principles that maximize engagement, knowledge retention, and the practical application of new skills in real business contexts.
“At InnoWave, our leadership team views learning as a strategic business capability rather than a standalone training activity,” said Estela Alexandra Moita Paulino, People & Culture Consultant.

Solution
LevelUP and learning by doing
InnoWave built a comprehensive learning ecosystem combining self-directed learning through Udemy Business with personalized learning journeys aligned to employees’ roles, career aspirations, and business priorities. Collaborative and social experiences reinforce learning, including internal knowledge-sharing events and the Data, Cloud & AI Academy and LevelUP University programs.
LevelUP, the corporate learning ecosystem, follows a structured model built around three stages. In Learn, employees acquire foundational knowledge through live sessions, e-learning, workshops, and bite-sized digital learning. In Apply & Build, skills are reinforced through hands-on labs, real-life business challenges, role plays, and improvement initiatives.
PowerUp, currently under development, will provide mentoring, coaching, and structured feedback. Seven learning dimensions structure LevelUP: Culture, Finance, Strategy, Sales & Consulting, Technical Skills, Operations, and AI for Everyone. Key features include:
• Personalized learning paths: curated paths tailored to different professional profiles, business areas, and levels of AI maturity, allowing employees to develop the skills most relevant to their roles and career aspirations.
• Microlearning: short, targeted courses embedded in daily workflows for just-in-time learning, enabling continuous skill development without disrupting productivity.
• Learning by doing: employees apply newly acquired knowledge through hackathons, innovation challenges, client engagements, and internal AI initiatives such as AgentWave, an AI tool embedded across the software development lifecycle; InnoTickets, an AI-powered internal ticketing platform; and StaffingAI, an AI-powered talent intelligence platform.
• AI learning journeys: foundational pathways for all employees plus advanced tracks covering prompt engineering, machine learning, large language models (LLMs), AI-assisted software development, and Microsoft Copilot technologies.
Our people are now better equipped to integrate AI into their daily work, experiment with emerging technologies, and contribute to innovation initiatives with confidence,” Moita Paulino said. “Learning has become practical, relevant, and immediately applicable to their day-to-day work.”
To ensure that learning delivers measurable value, InnoWave complements the Kirkpatrick Four-Level Model with a structured set of organizational learning KPIs.
The company monitors the Fulfilment of the Strategic Training Plan, ensuring learning initiatives are delivered in line with business priorities; Training Session Evaluation, capturing learner satisfaction and continuously improving content and delivery; and Training Effectiveness, measured three months after completion through feedback from both employees and their managers to assess the practical application of learning on the job.
Together, these indicators enable InnoWave to evaluate not only participation, but also behavioral change and business impact, reinforcing its commitment to evidence-based learning and continuous improvement.
“By embedding learning into day-to-day work, we strengthen knowledge retention, accelerate AI adoption, and create a continuous cycle of learning, experimentation, and innovation.”

Looking Ahead
Connecting learning directly to career progression
InnoWave continues to evolve TalentOS, its integrated talent development framework, by redesigning career paths and aligning them with structured learning paths. The framework connects learning to career progression, helping employees understand the skills, certifications, and learning experiences required to grow into future roles. The PowerUp stage of LevelUP, currently under development, will add mentoring, coaching, and structured feedback to accelerate professional growth.
“By connecting learning directly to career progression, we ensure that every development experience moves employees closer to their future roles,” Moita Paulino said.
