Delivering Your Message with Confidence and Clarity

Good communication is a key characteristic of every successful leader. Whether to build relationships, present new ideas or achieve results through others, effective communication and effective leadership are closely intertwined. Fortunately, everyone can become a capable and effective presenter by applying principles used by great presenters, and then following up with practice.

Leaders gain numerous benefits when they invest the time to become effective communicators and presenters. Stronger communication skills build a leader’s confidence and ability to expand their network of influence. Effective communicators are more productive because they get their message across in less time and avoid time-consuming miscommunication problems. Conflict resolution and decision-making also improve with better communication.

This course presents many best practices and techniques used by great communicators and gives leaders an opportunity to put their new skills to use by creating and delivering a short presentation, and receiving peer feedback as a first step for honing a new, personal presentation style.

  • Minimizing Signs of Anxiety

DAY 4:

Jumpstart Your Presentation

  • Use Voice and Body to Demonstrate Confidence
  • Record and Upload 1-Minute Presentation
  • Review and Provide Feedback on Peer Presentations

DAY 5:

Live Virtual Event

  • Cohort members, instructor, and a moderator synthesize learnings from the week and develop insights for next steps.
