Good communication is a key characteristic of every successful leader, and this includes being able to present ideas persuasively. Whether the focus is building relationships, pitching new ideas, selling initiatives, navigating change, or achieving results through others, leaders who present well are better prepared to engage, educate, motivate, and inspire.

The benefits to becoming a better speaker are numerous: Stronger communication and presentation skills build a leader’s confidence; expand their network of influence; speed up decision-making; resolve conflicts with greater ease; and increase productivity by getting their message across in less time and with fewer time-consuming miscommunications.

Fortunately, everyone can become a skilled presenter by applying the success principles used by seasoned public speakers, and then following up with practice. This course offers a range of best practices, tips, tools, and techniques used by great presenters and communicators. Participants will have the opportunity to put their new skills to use by creating and delivering a short presentation, and receiving peer feedback as a first step for honing their new, upgraded presentation style.
