Challenge

From AI ambition to measurable impact

Vivicta is a trusted Nordic transformation partner making every day easier through technology. With more than 7,000 experts globally, Vivicta helps customers unlock new digital opportunities and accelerate transformation across data, automation & AI, cloud & infrastructure, ERP & applications, and digital security. The company combines strong Nordic roots, deep technology expertise, and a practical focus on measurable outcomes, including scaling AI responsibly and securely to create real business impact.

Vivicta operates in a market where AI is rapidly shifting from experimentation to an executive and operational priority. Through the Nordic AI Navigator study, Vivicta identified that while AI ambition across Nordic organizations is high, many companies struggle to move beyond pilots and isolated use cases into measurable business outcomes. The company recognized that AI could not be treated as a narrow technology topic or a standalone learning campaign. It had to become part of how the company builds capabilities, delivers services, and develops its people.

The challenge was twofold. First, Vivicta needed to make AI relevant and accessible to employees across the whole company, not only developers, architects, or data specialists. Second, the company needed to connect AI learning to real business outcomes: better productivity, stronger customer delivery, responsible AI adoption, and the ability to advise customers moving from AI experimentation to AI value.

AI-first is not about replacing human capability; it is about amplifying it. With Udemy as our learning platform, we help our people turn AI from a technology trend into practical value — for their roles, their teams, and our customers,” said Jakub Hlinský, Head of Competence Development in Data Platform Services.

Solution

A company-wide AI competency framework

Vivicta approached AI upskilling as a company-wide competence transformation, not a one-off training push. The company built a holistic AI competency framework designed to support employees at every career stage, from curious beginners to experienced practitioners. The framework combines foundational knowledge, applied problem-solving, and ethical leadership, supporting both broad generative AI (GenAI) literacy and deeper specialist development. The initiative also supports Vivicta’s broader AI-First strategy of embedding AI capabilities across services, deliveries, and customer engagements, while helping employees build the skills. This reflects Vivicta’s ambition to combine AI-enabled delivery with practical business outcomes for customers.

Learning paths support both business and technical audiences, from sales, HR, finance, leaders, managers, project management, customer service, and product management to cloud, cybersecurity, DevOps, software delivery, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and general productivity roles

For employees building deeper AI expertise, the framework includes specialist paths in AI engineering, LLM operations (LLMOps) for deploying and maintaining large language models in production, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solution design for grounding LLM outputs in external knowledge sources, agentic AI, cloud AI services, cybersecurity, and advanced data analytics.

Udemy Business became one of the key scalable platforms supporting this approach, providing flexible access to AI, cloud, certification, technical, business, and leadership learning content. The platform helped employees build general AI literacy, prepare for Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud certifications, and develop AI-relevant skills for business, leadership, and customer-facing roles.

The learning ecosystem was reinforced by structured internal programs, including a 15-week Copilot & Agents training series covering Copilot basics, prompting, Copilot Chat, AI coaching, light agents, advanced prompting, Researcher and Analyst agents, Copilot Studio, and role-specific application of Copilot and agents, alongside instructor-led GenAI Foundation and GenAI Engineer training programs.

AI-powered Udemy features also supported a more applied learning experience. Vivicta used AI Role Play across the organization, giving employees a safe and repeatable way to practice realistic workplace conversations, strengthen communication skills, and prepare for challenging interactions before applying their skills in the workplace.

Udemy helped us make AI learning scalable and measurable by connecting learning to roles, goals, certifications, and engagement across the company,” Hlinský said.

Results

2,600 employees engaged and 700 Azure certifications

Since launching Udemy Business across Vivicta in November 2025, the platform quickly became an important engine for scaling AI learning across the company. With approximately 1,350 Udemy Business Enterprise licenses, employees logged more than 1,700+ hours of GenAI-related learning, with the strongest consumption in generative AI for tech, generative AI for business, and certification preparation.

More than 1,340+ hours were spent on AI certification-prep learning, covering Azure AI fundamentals, AI engineer paths, Copilot and agent administration, AI transformation leader, and AI business professional tracks. In addition, more than 460 hours were invested in AI foundations learning, strengthening capabilities in AI security, responsible AI, and AI testing.

In the first half of 2026 alone, Vivicta recorded more than 700 Microsoft Azure certifications, including more than 300 AI & Data certifications and more than 400 other public cloud certifications, balanced across more than 380 fundamentals and more than 320 advanced certifications.

Beyond Udemy, Vivicta’s wider certification data confirms more than 700 certified professionals in AI & Data from hyperscalers, based on company certification data confirmed internally.

The Copilot & Agents program reached more than 2,600 unique individuals, generating approximately 13,000 participation records, with an average of five sessions per person and approximately 65% of users attending multiple sessions. The goal was never learning for learning’s sake. As part of its AI-First approach, Vivicta’s AI capability development supports how the company designs, delivers, and continuously improves customer services. These capabilities increasingly translate into customer-facing outcomes. The ultimate goal is not AI adoption itself but delivering elevated impact by turning AI capabilities into measurable outcomes for employees, customers, and society through responsible use of AI.

Beyond learning metrics, Vivicta applied its AI capabilities in customer delivery through an AI-enabled managed services model. Dedicated digital operations (DigiOps) teams combine operations expertise, observability, automation, and AI for IT operations (AIOps) capabilities to improve customer outcomes.

In a public case study with Posti, Vivicta worked with Posti to improve operational stability and efficiency in a complex multi-team environment where service reliability, response times, and business continuity were critical. Through a dedicated DigiOps team powered by an advanced AIOps platform, Vivicta helped improve operational flexibility, stability, response times, collaboration, business continuity, and service quality.

The HPE/OpsRamp case study reports up to 35% cost savings, up to a 50% reduction in routine tasks, up to a 90% reduction in alert noise, and up to a 50% reduction in mean time to detect (MTTD) and mean time to resolve (MTTR) through AI-enabled IT operations.

Udemy helped us move from AI awareness to practical application, and our people now turn AI learning into real value for their roles and our customers,” Hlinský said.
