Leading in a Hybrid Work Environment
Coach, Develop, and Improve the Employee Experience of Those on Your Team
About this Program
Hybrid work impacts talent in many ways. Leaders need new skills for coaching, building relationships, and attending to employees’ well-being. They must also develop new approaches to attract and retain great talent no matter where employees work.
Hybrid work has become the “new normal” for many organizations. In order to stay relevant in today’s competitive talent market, companies will need to ensure inclusive and high-performing workplaces that support employees regardless of how, when, and where they work. This means organizations need to invest in developing their leaders with the skills necessary to effectively manage, coach, and adapt to these new ways of working.
This program helps leaders to better understand, build, and master the skills needed to thrive alongside their team in this new way of working. The goal is to enhance participant effectiveness in three core management areas while building and maintaining an inclusive, collaborative and engaging work environment, regardless of the physical setting. The fundamentals of leading self, leading others, and leading teams are still at the core of effective leadership. But our working worlds have changed dramatically, requiring a new answer to the question: “what works now?”
Learners complete a 6-week Guided Learning Journey to learn and apply new skills for managing in a hybrid work environment. Leaders will strengthen their own emotional intelligence, practice new approaches for coaching, communicating, and managing performance in a hybrid environment, and will apply practices designed to improve team culture, alignment, and performance. The program includes three weeks of formal learning interspersed with three weeks of fieldwork and coaching.
